CAR RENTAL
UK DRIVERS AGE AND CRITERIA
- You the driver(s) must be between the ages of 25 - 70 years (contact us if you are aged between 23-25 and 71-75 to see if we can insure you)
- A regular driver with 2 years driving experience (on a full driving licence)
- In good health
- Can produce all the driver documents (ID) upon collection
DRIVERS NON UK DRIVING LICENCE
- You the driver(s) must be between the ages of 25 - 70 years
- A regular driver with 3 years driving experience (on a full driving licence)
- In good health
- Can produce all the driver documents (ID) upon collection
VALID POINTS / ENDORSEMENT/ CONVICTIONS
We can, but are restricted/limited to which points, endorsements, convictions we can accept. Please contact us
if you have any points, endorsements, convictions on your driving licence. Minor endorsements within the last 5 years, more serious offences, disqualification (ban) within the last 11 years, please contact us
for a driver clearance.
DRIVERS ACCIDENTS OR INSURANCE CLAIMS HISTORY - fault and non-fault
If the driver(s) have had any fault, non fault accidents and/or claims in the last 3 years, please contact us
for a driver clearence.
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
All driver must attend the ‘lessors’ office in Rainham, Essex to be added on to the rental agreement and vehicle insurance.
Additional drivers can be insured for a daily charge. A full driving licence and identification are required for each and every driver.

No driver is allowed to drive the rental vehicle unless they have been added to the vehicle’s rental agreement and insurance and have written consent from us the ‘lessor’ to drive the rental vehicle(s).

MINI BUS HIRE
UK DRIVERS AGE AND CRITERIA FOR MINIBUS HIRE ON A CAR LICENCE
If the minibus is not for ‘hire or reward’. You might be able to drive a minibus with up to 14 passenger seats using your current manual car driving licence as long as there’s no payment from or on behalf of the passengers (it’s not for ‘hire or reward’).

You can drive a mini bus within the UK as long as the following conditions apply:

- you’re between the age of 25 and 70
- a regular driver and you have had your full UK manual B & B1 driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
- In good health, no medical conditions and not on regular medication
- you’re driving on a voluntary basis and the minibus is used for social purposes by a non-commercial body
- the maximum weight of the minibus is not more than 3500kg
- you’re not towing a trailer
- no vehicle accidents or insurance claims in the last 3 years
- no valid convictions and/or points on your driving licence (see points section below for more information)
- the minibus cannot be taken or driven outside of the mainland UK
DRIVERS WITH A D or D1 MANUAL UK DRIVING LICENCE - Social Purpose and Companies
You might be able to drive a minibus with up to 16 passenger seats using your current manual D or D1 driving licence as long as it’s not for ‘hire or reward’.
- You the driver(s) must be between the ages of 25 - 70 years
- A regular driver with 3 years driving experience on a full UK driving licence
- In good health, no medical conditions and not on regular medication
- Manual valid D or D1 driving licence
DRIVERS NON UK DRIVING LICENCE
- You the driver(s) must be between the ages of 25 - 70 years
- A regular driver with 3 years driving experience (on a full driving licence)
- In good health, no medical conditions and not on regular medication
- Manual D driving licence
- Can produce all the driver documents (ID)
upon collection including a valid International Driving Permit with a category D stamped.
