Wests Self Drive Hire is a family run car, van and minibus rental company, located close to London in Rainham, Essex, and today is managed by the third generation of the West family. 

Since the company's formation in 1964, fifty years have passed and we are proud to still be supplying our customers with the same excellent level of service they would have received almost half a century ago from our founders. 

The company has gone from strength to strength over the decades, and the increased business in car hire, van hire and

minibus hire as well as holidays in the UK and Europe means our fleet has expanded as a result. 

Wests Self Drive Hire offer for rental, a variety of the latest vehicles from a small car to 7 seat MPV, 9, 12, 15 and 17 seat minibuses, our commercial van hire caters form a small van to a flat back truck and tippers up to a 3500kg luton box van with tail-lift and constant revision of our product has led to us to provide a wide range of vehicles and a much wider selection of add on items for our customers convenience.

Our London depot is situated 4 minutes from Junction 30 of the M25 motorway, offering easy access to most of the UK's major Motorways and ‘A’ roads, with excellent links for Channel Crossings to Europe, and Lakeside, one of the county's largest shopping centre’s is within 3 miles of the Wests Self Drive Hire depot. Plus we are within easy reach of central London, all London airports, local train stations, Eurostar, underground trains and bus routes.

We have extensive on site workshop facilities, where our in house vehicle technicians use the latest equipment and procedures to maintain, repair and service the vehicles, whilst our valeting department prepares your rental vehicle to the highest standards.
